These are our favourite scenic walks for you to do whilst you stay at Langley Meadows

Whether you’re keen to stretch your legs after the drive or plan a peaceful morning outdoors, here are our go-to spots for fresh air and beautiful views.

Dovedale – Peak District: (14.4 miles)
Iconic views from the top of Thorpe Cloud and the famous stepping stones across the river. You’ll want your camera for this one.

Carsington Water – Derbyshire: (11.8 miles)
Lakeside strolls, bike rentals, cafés, and plenty of space for a picnic.

The Peak District National Park: (11.5 miles)
It’s huge and packed with different trails and landscapes—from dramatic hilltop hikes to peaceful valley strolls.

Kedleston Hall – near Quarndon: (5.2 miles)
A National Trust beauty spot with parkland walks and grand architecture.

Allestree Park – Derby: (5.6 miles)
Woodland paths and lake views. A peaceful local escape.

Locko Park – Spondon: (9.3 miles)
Quiet and scenic estate walks, ideal for a slow morning.

Darley Park – Darley Abbey ( 4 miles)
Scenic riverside walks. Home to Derby Rowing Club with outdoor coffee shop. Very popular with dog walkers.
